What happened
Jaff Group, Qatar-based NPE Company, and Iraq-based Karem Bureau signed a memorandum of understanding in September 2025 to develop solar marketing and energy distribution across the GCC.
The agreement pairs Karem Bureau's solar-panel supply with NPE's petroleum and energy footprint in the Gulf, with Jaff Group as the diversified holding bringing both sides together. It opens with a six-month initial cooperation and a five-year extension.
For Al Jaff Energy this is a concrete step beyond the Iraqi residential field — extending the renewables programme outward into the wider Gulf market.
